I am so excited you decided to stop by LoJay’s Corner!!

My prayer is that you come by often. My name is Lojette, but almost everyone calls me Lo. You can call me Lo too. I am a city girl by heart and country girl by nature. I married my high school best friend, and we have a blended family. We share three boys. 

When I’m not spending time with my family, I’m at church. It is my second home. I enjoy serving God’s people. 

However, I wasn’t always in the church. I was once dying of thirst, drinking from every well, except the well that never runs dry. I was wandering in the streets, lost. It took some near-death experiences to wake me up. 

I realized I had a purpose, and it had nothing to do with the things I was chasing. Jesus has always been a part of my life, but it wasn’t until I had no one else that I decided to get to know and love him. Even then, I would, however, turn my back on him. I’m so thankful he doesn’t hold grudges. 

I’m a christian that has been through a lot and made lots of mistakes. That is why I wanted to create a corner/space for others just like me to be able to come and feel safe. 

In my corner, you will find that I’m very transparent! I want people to know that God shines His light through cracked pots. He utilizes broken vessels. He turns ashes into beauty. You don’t have to have it all figured out to follow him or for him to use you. You need to trust Him. Which even I still struggle with from time to time. (Told you I’m transparent.) 

We all have a purpose, and I want you to figure yours out. Even if you don’t know your purpose or walk in it, I want to walk with you.

This journey is not always comfortable, but God never promised that it would be. No matter where you are on your walk with Christ, it’s worth it. Don't walk alone. I am now walking with you.
